We looked at FEAR as the biggest factor in growing our passion.
Today, we’ll look at the next top barrier.

BARRIERS TO GROWING YOUR PASSION-#2
LACK OF CLARITY is the big elephant in the room.
Lack of clarity can present in the form of not knowing what our passion could be, not knowing how to embrace it, being unclear on how to start and/or how to grow it.
How can we possibly grow what we don’t know?
We have to be clear on what we have, what we intend to grow before we can make any attempt on the “how”.
Clarity helps our focus. It removes the brakes on our journey to growth. It transforms our experience.
Lisa Nichols says and I quote…
“When your clarity meets your conviction and you apply action to the equation, your world will begin to transform before your eyes”
Such is the power of clarity.
Finding, discovering or embracing our passion can be a very complex, yet so simple endeavour.
You would find it yourself, only if you can begin to listen more closely to your inner compass and cues.
Begin to take notes and observe common themes or patterns.
This is easier for some than others.
You could also employ the services of a coach or a mentor to help guide you on your journey of self-discovery.
A coach or mentor could help you achieve clarity on the “what” and the “how” of your growth.
Steven Thomas of “Ask a millionaire” says and I quote…
“Don’t be afraid to invest in a mentor or coach who can teach you in 1 day what it will take you 90 days to learn on your own. Because now you get to learn it in 1 day and have 89 days to execute”
Let me mention quickly that even with the best of coaches, you must be willing to put in the work to achieve the desired result.
The process requires that you are open, engaged and committed all the way.
